Our Vision
The JWPC's vision is to be a trusted partner that will enhance the quality of life in our communities.
The core of the Jim Walter Partnership Center's mission is to engage the University and the community primarily in the areas of community revitalization and economic development. We engage faculty, staff, and students in activities that bring tangible and lasting benefits to neighborhoods in the Tampa Bay Region.
We strive to add value to community-based initiatives, to develop sustainable and equal partnerships, and to engage the University as a valuable resource in addressing community issues.
